Could this be my wedding manicure??
Ever since the engagement, people have asked what kind of manicure I want on our wedding day. And I’ve been at a total loss! Part of what’s so awesome about nails is the endless possibilities… But this day will be memorialized in photos and there’s so much pressure! Plus, I am getting a bit of a reputation as an artiste, what if I mess up for the big day?
I’ve been kind of a snob about stamping ever since I realized freehand nail art was a thing. But you know, stamping definitely has a place – I should stamp more often! I’m thinking that with serious time constraints during the wedding weekend, I’ll want to do something quickly that is still polished and unique. So stamping for the win!
I started with a gradient, using Orly Decades of Dysfunction (haha what a name! Perfect for a wedding manicure?), Essie Neo Whimsical, Barielle Sailors Delight, and Rimmel English Rose. Then when that was all cleaned up and dry, I stamped on top using Shany plate SH18 and Maybelline Color Show Bold Gold. I topped it all off with a thick coat of Color Club topcoat.
ok, so this is super exciting! Tell me what you think. Is this is, is this the one? Or should I keep experimenting? I could try out different colors and plates, too… I love floral things, so that’s a possibility.

This is so delicate and beautiful! I love it!
Thanks, Talia! I think it might just be the wedding manicure!
